merry christmas 2005!

we took lochie to the boise towne square mall today to see santa. the mall shut at 5pm today and santa took a break just as we got there between 3:30pm and 4:00pm! we stood in line and were fortunate to be #4 when santa came back from a sugar cookies and apple cider break!

we he sat down lochie said "hi, santa!" - he wasn't scared at all and santa's workshop was done up so beautifully with large animated toys etc.


santa gave lochie a colouring book (whatever happened to candy canes?!) and they let us use our own camera for a few shots. the picture package was ridiculously expensive but the santa was so nice looking it *was* tempting (we resisted).

tomorrow morning we will wake up and open lochie's gifts (we haven't got a tree this year so I might wrap some tinsel around the oscillating fan!) then we are going next door to greg and melissa's for christmas dinner. we are taking a waldorf salad and potatoes au gratin and some candies.
