Class Picture Day!
The girls and I went to Twin Rivers subdivision today for some class pics now the leaves are changing and all the beautiful autumnal colours are in the background!

Our microbiology teacher Dr. Ryan dabbles in professional photography so he had all the fancy equipment to take our pictures.

After, we went to Rembrandt's for some hot cocoa & cheesecake and had a baby shower for Shanell who is due in a few weeks. It was a great day.

Poor ol' Lochie is not having such a great time of it though. He has a pretty bad flu right now (he was diagnosed with croup on Tuesday but it has run it's course and now he has very bad diahhrea and vomitting with a bad cough).

He missed school on Wednesday and Friday and we hope he will be well enough on Monday to go back. He had a 103 degrees temp last night but it came down quickly with a lukewarm bath. I haven't bathed with him since he was a little(r) baby but last night he was so lethargic and boiling hot to the touch that we just ran the water and I just held him with his head resting on my shoulder sitting in the tub. He seems a bit better today and right now he is supposed to be napping in his room but I can hear him in there singing a song - something about "la-la tick-le tum-my" are the only words I can make out... I think he's making his own song up!

Got my results back from my mock boards and I passed - but barely. Need to focus a *lot* more the next 7 weeks before National Boards! Next week is a crazy week - have to screen more potential clinical boards patients as my patient was rejected (not enough tartar on her teeth!) as a candidate so I am in near-heartattack mode now! Then I have a Fluoride Varnish clinic on Wendesday, 10 hour day Thursday and go straight from school and fly out that night to Sacramento, where I'll be until Sunday for a Boards Review seminar. I am ready to be all done!
