Summer fun

It's been a while since I've posted on the blog! Work has kept me immensely busy and exhausted & David is doing so many credits this summer that he has virtually taken up residence at the BSU library!

The weather has been so hot (had a few 100s days) but mercifully we have had an airconditioner installed and our swamp cooler hooked up correctly now so it has been a lot more bearable!

Lochie received an early birthday pressie from his Nana & Poppa in Australia and has been riding his trike in the front yard every evening after school. He loves to gather rocks, sticks, leaves, juice bottle etc and put it in the carry basket and peddle around. He knows how to peddle but often prefers just to push with his feet!



We haven't yet his the pool this summer - last summer we got mmberships to the YMCA and swam a lot but this year by the time we all get home, get showered and fed we are all so tired. We have a park near us called IvyWild which has a toddler pool with slides and fun water play so we think this coming Friday we will try and get there though we are considering an overnight trip to Twin Falls to check out some job prosects for next year.

Lochie is doing well at school though his favourite teacher Ms Jennifer has left for another career opportunity and we are still getting used to his new teachers. The potty training is coming along slowly and we are fine with that - not pushing the issue too much.

We have been blessed with an amazing group of friends from church who we meet with every Tuesday night for a bible study & a coffee and they help keep me centered in a crazy stressful week!

Things are so busy and I can't believe we are in July already the year is just flying by - before I know it I'll be posting fall pictures again! God Bless and have a great Summer!
